OR the Bamberg County Chamber of Commerce at the Airport
between Bamberg & Denmark on M-Th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you need a pickup call the Chamber at 803-245-4427 or 803-535-9918 and someone will come.
Make sure you fill out a slip to be entered into the Give-Away Drawing. The Advertizer-Herald will be giving away (2)6-month subscriptions and a gift basket on June 17.
The Bamberg Post Office did not participate in the Annual Food Drive Project this year.
The food collected by the post office has always been donated to the Cheez and Cracker Box.
The Cheez and & Cracker received 12 bags of food, instead of the usual 200 or more.
The Cheez & Cracker Box then distributes this food (and clothing) to many families at
no cost to them. Individual monetary donations, churches, and organizations make this
service possible. So please dig deep and donate!

RIVERTRIPS:

If you plan to paddle with the Chamber, please don’t forget to register.
To register for any of the Chamber paddle trips just email me (lgbell@mindspring.com)
or the chamber (info@bambergcountychamber.org with names of all paddlers and their hometowns.
I like for people to register a week or two before a paddle trip, but I can add a paddler the
day before we paddle. The shuttle is free but we do accept donations ($10 a year is recommended).
The donations are used to pay for an appreciation dinner for the shuttle drivers, landowners who
allow us to use their property and several paddlers who help clean the river. Jerry Bell.

CLEANUPS:

When the cleanups are on busy roads, please do not bring young children.
Volunteers with mobility issues should also use caution and prudence on these roads.
We welcome suggestions of additional cleanup locations! KBCB will provide cleanup supplies
and water. Please wear weather appropriate work clothing.
