This is the last week to drop off toys for this year’s Toys for Tots. The distribution day will be Sunday, December 19th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Shop Her Closet Outreach Community Center. There are 20 boxes in the community that can accept your toys or contact Joy Haynes and she will pick them up.
Children must be present in order to receive toys. Parents will not be allowed in the toy area – only children…

- The Bamberg County Library will once again be holding a Golf Cart Christmas Parade this holiday season. The parade route will begin at Guess Park, travel to Pruitt Health via North Street, and them return to the Bamberg Public Library for post-parade activities (Christmas Storytime with Ms. Jennie, Selfies with Santa and light refreshments).
- The parade will be shared via Facebook Live for everyone at home. They’d LOVE to see spectators along the route too!

Please plan to attend the Living Christmas Story at Edisto Baptist Church. The family of Edisto Baptist Church is thrilled to present this living dramatization as a gift to all who will come. This drive-thru pageant of 27 scenes will reflect life as it was 2,000 years ago at the time of Jesus’ birthday, including a traditional manger re-enactment. The cast and crew of over 70 will be delighted to present to you this living Christmas Story. You will see live animals and over 500 luminaries lighting the entrance and city of Bethlehem.

*Parade takes off towards courthouse at 5:30 p.m.
The parade will end right after main street! After the parade we would love everyone to come to the courthouse for the Tree Lighting Festivities!
Come and join our 2021 Christmas Parade as participants or as spectators!!!!! We invite lots of parade participants.

Bamberg County First Steps Parenting Program is actively making plans for its Community Wide Yard Sale. Vendor spaces are $10.00 and $5.00 for tables. These fees will help support our Parents as Teachers Parenting Program. So clean out your closets, sell your treasures and keep what you earn or if you would like to donate sale items, we will be accepting them until November 30, 2021.
